The feather from the past

Yesterday I opened a box with feather and seed beads pins I have made some years ago, when jewelry designing was just a hobby.... and tried one in my hat yesterday, when I needed to take a long walk in the center of the city to search for jewelry supplies...!

Πριν μερικές μέρες άνοιξα ένα κουτί με καρφίτσες με φτερά και ψιλές χάντρες τις οποίες είχα φτιάξει κάποια χρόνια πριν όταν το να σχεδιάζω κοσμήματα ήταν ακόμα χόμπυ.... και δοκίμασα μία από αυτές στο καπέλο μου χτες, όταν έπρεπε να πάω στο κέντρο της πόλης για προμήθειες για τα κοσμήματα....!

Rock it!!

I have a friend who's a singer and she mostly sings rock. Some days ago we were talking about her upcoming concert (it's tomorrow!!) and I had the idea of making a special top and some pieces of jewelry for her, for the special occasion!

* Έχω μια φίλη που είναι τραγουδίστρια και τραγουδάει κυρίως ροκ. Μερικές μέρες πριν μιλούσαμε για την συναυλία που ετοιμάζει αυτόν τον καιρό (είναι αύριο!!) και μου ήρθε η ιδέα να της φτιάξω μία μπλούζα και μερικά κοσμήματα ειδικά για το live της!

Happy Birthday Daily Art!!

Last spring, after trying for about a year and a half to find a job, I decided that I had nothing to lose by opening a page on Etsy and sell some of the jewelry I was making as a hobby. So, on june 26th of 2012 I finally opened my Etsy shop! 

The project that started as "why-not-try-it" thing, became a brand and a profession with two main ingredients: hard work by my side and people that helped in my many ways for Daily Art by Angelina to continue and become bigger day by day.

The sparkle that caught my eye....

One shiny sunday noon I was walking in Athens and suddenly a multicolor shine caught my eye! 

It was a pin cushion full of colorful pearl sewing pins on the working table of a clothes repair shop....

New display case!

Yesterday I made the new display case in the shop where I sell my jewelry. 

For the decoration I used tissue paper for the stands, paper jewelry boxes, glass and glasses, tea cups and spoons.
